First Set of Smart Grid Standards released officially by CEN/CENELEC-ETSI on Jan 30, 2013.
The following is a part of the European smart grid standardisation work carried out under Mandate M/490.
Below are the links to the “First set of Standards” for smart grids presented by the CEN/CENELEC-ETSI in January this year and the other related documents on the smart grid reference architecture model, sustainable processes and information security issues:
The work under Mandate 490 will now continue defined as an iteration of the first set of standards, with the following:
· Implementing the methodology developed under M/490; further refinement of the methodology used on the set of consistent standards to be presented end 2013 and a set of consistent standards to complement the “first set of standards” to be presented end 2014, including prioritisation of new gaps based on identified use cases.
· A system interoperability testing method and a conformance testing map to be presented end 2013 and an assessment of needed profiles to improve interoperability to be presented end 2014.
